What’s University Canada West like? It’s a modern private university located in downtown Vancouver, with a focus on business and career-oriented programs. If you’re interested in how quickly you can enter the workforce after graduation, official data from University Canada West offers some insight: its MBA alumni employment rate reached 92% (based on the fall 2025 survey results), and the university took first place in the 2024 National MBA Games, becoming the first university in history to win both the BC MBA Games and the National MBA Games.
Of course, it is not a research university in the traditional sense; its strengths and weaknesses are quite evident, making it suitable for students with clear career goals.
Career Development
The university’s MBA program offers working students the opportunity to study while continuing to work. Over the course of two academic years, students first spend two to three weeks on campus receiving in-person instruction, followed by 10 online courses and guided assignments. At the same time, this ensures that students can enhance their professional skills while continuing to work.
Academic Calendar
Generally, bachelor’s degrees take 2–4 years to complete, while master’s degrees take 1–2 years.
An academic year is divided into four semesters, each lasting 10 weeks. Start dates are very flexible, and new students are accepted for enrollment at the beginning of each semester. Create a digital University Canada West Document Degree
